Artist Statement

Taxidermist Picture

Growing up on rural Kentucky farm, I spent my time mostly outdoors. I developed a great appreciation and love of nature, wildlife, and hunting. My love of hunting began as a child, and continued through adulthood and led me to taxidermy. It has been a very fulfilling part of my life. If there is a hunting season, I'm going. I am very passionate about hunting.

I feel I can accurately recreate wildlife. Anyone can mount a deer by pulling hide over a form. But it takes an artistic person with vision giving lifelike detail, to make a the difference in the final product of realism.

Thank you to my many loyal customers!

I am very honored to be chosen by my customers, for the quality and affordability of my work. I would like to thank each and everyone of them for their continued support and trust, year after year, with their trophy bucks and more. I am extremely particular in my work and continue with a mount until satisfied, Additionally, the process works smoother, if the species is taken care of properly in the field. I encourage anyone who does not know how to correctly field dress or skin an animal, first, to find out how to avoid ruining your trophy.

The walnut pedestal stand pictured at left, was designed  and made by Bryan and Lora.
It was made for display purposes.  This is just another preview at how creative your taxidermist is.
